Is anyone else frustrated with the spa/gym? It seems each time I go (which admittedly isn't often) the rules have changed. I am finding it impossible to know what to expect each time I go. In the past six months towels were given, not given, one given, sometimes available, sometimes not available, and now one can have as many as they like. The facilities were open until 10 but at some point someone decided the pool and gym would close at 9:30. Fine. Tell people ahead of time the rules are changing. I was told the 9:30/10 rule was always there but not enforced. Sorry. But this is a workout facility! It's supposed to be enjoyable. A person shouldn't have to spend loads of time memorizing rules. The entrance has moved. The experienced yoga teachers were let go. Today I was reading in the sauna when I was told it's no longer allowed. I asked at the front desk for a complete list of rules and regulations. They did not have any but said they would have them next time I stopped by. I could go on but it sure is a funny way to run a business.

I too find it a bit of a nuisance that the goalposts keep moving. The only thing I can think of to say in defence of this muddle is that maybe things will settle down soon.
But I do wish, if it is a club, that in common with other clubs the management would consult the members. If it is not a club then don't call us members.

Hi, Not been in the square for to long, I joined the gym and found the staff polite and all were willing to help me. I think the new equipment is lovely, though I did find the pool a little cool a week or so ago. I've been told that this is all sorted now. To have such a facility on my doorstep is fantastic. I'm now gearing up to work off the Christmas pudding! - Happy New Year everyone.

Since I wrote my last comment several months ago, the gym and pool have improved greatly. Also I agree with mcsquared, the staff are very helpful. It seems the wait to get this facility sorted was worth it.

Glad to see that the TVs in the gym have been sorted out. the gym staff tell me that the company who installed them ave been in to sort them out. Pleased to find that the pool has been really warn recently. Looks to me as if the health club team have their act together - well done.
