I'm just about to contact Virgin and ask them to intall broadband (after three years in the Square). Any tips before I start the process?

Virgin Media have a dedicated phone number / department that deals with Dolphin Square, so if you don't have this already, the helpdesk will let you know what it is.
This is fortunate because Virgin Media have dire customer service and I have had endless problems with them and their service in previous properties. They seem to give more priority to DS tenants as they have an arrangement with the management.
One point is, you may be surprised by the price of broadband with Virgin. Internet alone costs £25 / month; because Virgin TV is included in the rent it means DS tenants are not eligible for any of Virgin's offers / bundles. In my previous flat I paid £28 /month for TV and Internet. Now even though the TV is 'free' I pay £25 / month for Internet alone.
If you have a BT line in your flat it will be cheaper to go with another provider as you can get broadband for far less than £25 / month. However most flats in DS don't have BT lines so in that case you are pretty much stuck with Virgin.

Sorry i haven't replied before, and you've probably sorted yourself by now.
The Virgin 'Dolphin Square' helpline is very good. And I never had any difficulties with the virginmedia broadband provided when I was in the square. It was worth the extra it cost. I didn't want a BT line installed, or the monthly rental.
