Hi there
I've just moved into Nelson and called Virgin to set up a broadband connection. The price I was quoted was insanly expensive and when I questioned this I was told it came with a TV package which I HAD to have.
I have no desire to subscribe to bad digital tv for a year. I have the basic tv package which is all I need.
Are virgin telling the truth? And if they are has anyone gone with another company, and who? Can we use another company or do we have to go with Virgin?
Thanks for your help
Thomas

Hi Thomas, Welcome to the Square. You seem to have hooked up with someone unhelpful at Virgin. You DON'T need to take a tv package. The broadband and tv are not linked. You can have one, both, or neither! Good luck with that. Mo Li
