Am I the only one disgusted by the behaviour of the DS 2005 board? What a load of old twaddle that was about the delay to the publication of the booklet. I don't see anything in the booklet related to another tenant that could have held up publication. Given their ongoing incompetence, I suspect there is another reason for the delay.
As usual they gave a bunch of excuses, little explanation of their behaviour and displayed their smug arrogance that they know best. They should all resign and have a proper election to the board. Speaking of elections, weren't we due to have one around this time?

I understand that a vote of confidence was asked for (and given) at the meeting, sounds to me that their doing the job nobody else wants.....

Well the nelsontenant seems to something of a dimwit, hasn't understood what DS2005 is about and is obviously a clueless windbag. Of course there is nothing in the booklet about the delay because of a certain tenant. It is confidential and in any event the booklet is not the vehicle for that kind of thing. There was no election because no-one put themselves forward for election. Every OB tenant received a letter asking for nominations. Not one was received. As mcsquared suggests, it is hard, time consuming and obviously thankless job that nobody wants to do. DS2005 has a specific brief. Protect the leases. That is the beginning and end of it. The company is not there to tell the owners how to run their square, what bulbs to plant in the garden or what colour to paint the walls. It is there to ensure that OB tenants don't get squeezed out. Anything else that is done is a bonus. And a great deal more is being done. Many hardship cases, confidential by their very nature, have been assisted. If nelsontenant really wants to know what is being done, she only has to ask.
