They never give up! I hear that Westbrook lodged another claim to buy the freehold yesterday. I do hope that sanity prevails. The enfranchisement system, whereby leaseholders can buy the freehold of their property, was set up to help individuals wanting to own their own homes outright. It was not set up for the benefit of big business to make a quick profit.
