Not the Macintosh that you need to keep you dry, but the one one that makes you feel warm and cosy..
Here in the Square there must be many of us who use the thinking person's computer. Let's use this thread to support each other when needed - not that we Mac users have too many difficulties, as it's mostly all so easy and trouble free - but a thread where we can suggest tips, useful websites, or even reviews of newly found bits and bobs etc.
looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hurrah for billg! There are more Mac users in Dolphin Square than one would imagine. I guess that shows what discerning people we are.
Has anyone tried using the handy little remote control with a new iMac, Macbook, or Macbook Pro? It's too cool for words.

Putting music onto an iPod is easy-peasy. But have you ever tried to transfer from your iPod back onto your Mac (and iTunes). Apple don't want you to do that. But if you need to do that, you can by downloading a little piece of software called senuTi ( Itunes backward in case you missed that!). You can get it www.fadingred.org/senuti/It's free of charge.

This is where we need to get Brendan to set up a separate area for technical stuff...

We can do technical stuff here, Inga.
Anyone want to start a thread for Windows PC users?

if you use a MacBook or one of its earlier incarnations then you need to see this battery monitor - it's really useful. www.emeraldion.it/software/macosx/minibatterylogger.htmlI've got a bit of a thing about keeping my batteries in good order and this is a helpful way of keeping track.
