Pub Quiz

The Morpeth Arms (www.youngs.co.uk/pub-detail.asp?PubID=428#WhatsOn) has a pub quiz on Monday nights. I went there last night with a couple of friends and had a great night!

It starts at about 8pm in the rather nice upstairs function room, and costs £1 per person to entry. The prize is the pot of entrance money, so the more the merrier.

The food is rather good there, and there is a wide selection of beers and wines, and the chips are only £1.50, but as yet not sampled for quality and quantity

Thanks for the memory job, Inga. A few of us have been talking about a DSTA pub quiz team for a while now. Anybody want to join? If we can assemble a squad, we can send a team - maybe two teams - to the Morpeth to bring honour and glory to the Square.

Might be an idea to revive this thread in the hope that maybe somebody might like to come forward. There are other pubs that hold a pub quiz, so let's get a Dolphin Square out there.
