The next meeting of the DSTA Wine Club takes place on Monday 21 July in the Club Room, Keyes House basement.
The theme of this meeting is wine for beginners. Wine lover Nick Walker (and guest) is hosting an appreciation class for those who want to know how to enjoy wine; what to order in a restaurant; what wine to drink with what you eat; and general tips on buying wine.
This certain to be an interesting and entertaining evening for all. (Although aimed at beginners in wine, everyone is welcome.)
Tickets £10 person. Apply DSTA Wine Club 010 Collingwood House, Dolphin Square

Thanks for the reminder. I think the nicest thing about previous wine club events is the informality and meeting new people. I'm certainly looking forward to this one.

The wine club is as much about fellow tenants getting together for a convivial evening as it is about wine.

A huge thank-you to Nick for organising this evenings Wine Education!
I really enjoyed trying the different wines and cheeses. I am also now scarred for life by the taste of Brie with a Bordeaux.
Would it be possible for the list of wines to be posted, as I really fancy a bottle of the Chilean Red!

There are still tickets available for the Wine Club on 17 November when we'll be looking at white wines. The following week we're holding a fun evening at which we'll be tasting the 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau.
