The axe fell today on many of the staff who have been so much a part of life in Dolphin Square - some of them for up to 20 years.
While respecting the owners' right to restructure, it is never easy to see the people who have worked so hard for the tenants being let go.
I am sure many tenants will join me in wishing those who are leaving "good luck" and "thank you".
Now all the Mantilla management team have to do is to live up to the promises they made when Westbrook bought the place, and that they have continued to make since then: That Dolphin Square will become the premier place to live in London.
Not only must Mantilla supply services as good as those provided by the redundant staff but they must do better. How else can they justify throwing so many people out of work?

Today (Monday 21 July) is the last day of work for many of the staff in Dolphin Square. On behalf of the Dolphin Square Tenants' Association, we like to say wish them well and say thank you. You will will be missed.
Over the years many of you became friends with tenants. Your departure will leave a a gap. Good luck to you.
