Hello. Just wondering if anyone else is peeved by the current state of the gym. I certainly appreciate that the rennovation work needs to be done, and I also appreciate them keeping the gym open during this time, but the present state is unsanitary, unhealthy and just downright unusable. Perhaps it wouldn't trouble me so much but for the fact the new (expensive!) rates have now gone into effect. I have complained to the staff at the desk but have only received blank stares and mumbled apologies in response. Oh, and they also tell me that the gym will stay like this until the end of November. Does anyone else find this unacceptabale and/or have any ideas for what can be done? Management-- would love to have a response from you!

Sorry pressed send in error ! - senior moment !!!
I've not joined as yet as I am waiting to see what the final results are like. My current gym membership in the west end expires in December but from what I have seen (i pay £65 pcm and have to travel two stops on the tube) my lower 'residents only' rate is almost half this when you add my travel costs. I presume that the rates will go up massively once the works are completed as from my show round last week it looks like it will cost well over £100 pcm. My club has no pool or squash/tennis and to be honest is a little tired compared to the one downstairs.
