Does anyone have any news on when the laundry in the basement might be open again? I've been down there a couple of times this week with a suitcase full of washing only to discover that its still boarded up and out of use. If I dont wash our dirty clothes soon they're going to be crawling around the Square on their own  |

There certainly has been a lot of confusion. I think part of the problem is that it,s the responsibility of someone outside The Square who runs it on behalf of Westbrook. The 2 ladies who look after it are very good and are as helpful as can be but it is said that some of the machines need better looking after. Last I heard Danny was sorting it out for the people who run the place. I hope I have got my facts right if not no doubt someone will correct me . I thought things would be up and running in a few days !!

I understand that the laundry is owned and run by an outside company and is not the property of the Dolphin Square management. Whilst its been a bit of a problem for us all, the external owner is responsible for the operation of the laundry. Lets hope its all sorted now. I'm fed up with turning my underware inside out!

The launderette is now open and working as normal. I walked past it tonight at about 8.00 and several tenants were in there washing their smalls. So no need to reverse your underwear, mcsquared...or as the MPs like to call it "flip" your underwear.
