Eagle-eyed readers of DolphinTimes will have spotted that the DSTA's 50th birthday party cannot held on Saturday 19 July. The 19th fell on a Saturday last year! The correct date is Saturday 18 July.

The latest news on the preparations for the DSTA's 50th birthday on Saturday 18 July:
- catering will be done Pizza Express of Moreton Street, Pimlico. Part of the worldwide pizza chain, quality is guaranteed
- there will be drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available)
- music will feature the hits of the past 50 years
- there will be some surprises throughout the afternoon
- the party ends with the cutting of a specially made DSTA birthday cake and singing "Happy Birthday"
