Noisy neighbours

I love living in the square but life is being made slightly unbearable by an inconsiderate person in the same house who plays their radio/cd player loudly by their open window and often it can be heard loudly in my flat even though we're on different floors.

I'm often too exhausted to complain direct and when I did summon up courage to do so there was no answer at the flat.

I do think this is extremely antisocial and is affecting my quality life as I have to shut my window to try and block out the sound which I find unbearable as I love freshair.

Why are some people so selfish?

You should report the noise to the helpdesk / security. It is likely that the 'offender' is in breach of their lease by allowing such noise to disturb others, and may need to be reminded about it, and it isn't your job to do that.
