Does anyone know location of the loud music on South/East side of the Square this weekend. It seemed to be coming from the river but the Boating Base normally keeps noise to a minimum and closes quite early.

The repsonse to your problem is deafening by it's silence. Noise has always been a problem in The Square but in this case i realise it was from outside . In the past there have been problems from parties on the river boats and unfortunately the noise does seem to travel from far distant events particularly over the river.
